After a trip to the Detling Kit Car Show on April 12 2009 and looking at many different kit cars, it was the MK Indy R that got the final vote. After some deliberation it was decided that the powerhouse would be out of a bike rather than using the standard Ford Zetec engine.

Being an ex-biker I wanted the same thrill from the kit car as I used to get from the bike and after discussions with they guys at MK we decided that the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 was the right choice for me.

I managed to source a low mileage GSX-R 1000 from Yorkshire Engines, the kit has arrived from MK and we're steadily progressing though the build.
